Biography

Dr. Seshadri is an Associate Professor in the Couple and Family Therapy program at Alliant International University. She earned her masters and doctoral degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University. Her publications include research within the following topics: Diversity, couple relationships, gender perspectives of power within culture, grief, anger management, relapse prevention, and interracial couples. She also has a variety of experience working with various clinical populations. She enjoys working with students and helping them live out their passions in their respective careers.

Professional Interests

Experiences of interracial couples and families, culture, process-based research, qualitative research, parent-child relationships, factors influencing attachment in relationships, the impact of family of origin on self, couple, and family, how addiction impacts the family, and bullying/trauma.
